The Minister of International Cooperation H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat is launching a new book titled “Stakeholder Engagement through Economic Diplomacy”. The book puts a country-led multi-stakeholder engagement framework at its center, and discusses a novel approach of economic diplomacy. Notably incorporating the government, the civil society groups and the private sector in this framework, the book highlights three key principles and presents Egypt’s experience in fostering multilateralism.
The discussants at the virtual book launch include renowned Economists Minouche Shafik, The London School of Economics and Political Science – LSE Director; Carmen Reinhart, Vice President and Chief Economist of the World Bank; and chaired by Erik Berglof, Chief Economist of the @Asian Infrastructure InvesAsian Infrastructure Investment Bank.

تطلق الدكتورة رانيا المشاط وزيرة التعاون الدولي كتاب «مبادئ الدبلوماسية الاقتصادية لتعزيز التعاون الدولي والتمويل الإنمائي». والذي يناقش منهجية عمل وزارة التعاون الدولي لدفع العلاقات الاقتصادية مع الأطراف ذات الصلة من القطاع الخاص وشركاء التنمية والمجتمع المدني من خلال مبادئ الدبلوماسية الاقتصادية الثلاثة، كما يستعرض الكتاب تجربة مصر الرائدة في مجال التعاون متعدد الأطراف.
يتحدث في فاعلية إطلاق الكتاب الاقتصادية البريطانية البارزة مينوش شفيق، مدير كلية لندن للاقتصاد، وكارمن راينهارت، نائب الرئيس وكبير الاقتصاديين بالبنك الدولي، ويرأس جلسة المناقشة إريك بيرجلوف، كبير الاقتصاديية في البنك الآسيوي للاستثمار في البنية التحتية.
